It's Senior Year

Hey,

Well the first week of senior year is over and the means I only have 35 more to go (not that anyone is counting though). Everything on campus is awesome. The football stadium is nearly done and apparently the soccer game tonight will be played there. The volleyball team opens their season tonight as well and all my classes are a ton of fun. I am taking International Business Management, International Banking and Finance, Capstone I, Painting, and finally Money and Capital Markets.

I am looking forward to learning a lot in the International Business classes from the Internationals Students. It is definitely a huge please to be able to have classes with students from all over the world. I am so busy already and will therefore close for now but more on the way.

Busy Week Ahead

Hello,

I have a very busy week coming up. Fraternity meeting, scholarship dinner, classes, and a lot of projects that need to be finished and started. The semester is quickly coming to an end and that means that summer plans need to be made. I applied for a summer program for graduate school training and should be hearing from that soon. If that does not come through I will be spending the summer in San Antonio working. I certainly hope that I can get out of the heat for awhile because the summers in Southern California are a whole lot more inviting than those here. Either way I am looking forward to the ability to experience some new events and edge closer and closer to graduate next May.

it has been awhile

Hello All,

Sorry it has been so long since my last post but I had a lot of problems with my computer then I bought another one and to be frank I HAVE BEEN SO BUSY. I have been working on a lot of fraternity stuff and making sure that our events are getting followed through on. Also I have been working on an application for the American Economic Summer Program. I finally finished everything and sent it to UCSB for review. Hopefully I will get in and be able to attend. It is very good experience for graduate school, which I plan on attending after graduation and a few years working. I hope everything is going well with everyone and I will be blogging more soon.

Busy so far...

Hello all,

Well the new semester has begun and of course I am busy again. It is a nice change however because the winter break was getting very long indeed. Since I last posted a lot has happened. I became president of my fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha. I started a new course load and came back from winter break. I am very excited for the new semester and what is to come. I am taking 15 hours once again. Econometrics, Business stats II, Latin American Economics, Management, and finally Spanish II. I haven't taken Spanish since freshman year so needless to say I am trying to teach myself everything we did before in I so that I can understand what is going on in II. Other than that my other classes are going very well. I recently just got back from another Lambda Chi Alpha leadership seminar. While I was there I attended board meetings and learned a lot from the other brothers from over 100 chapters around the country. During this Sunday afternoon I plan on catching up on some rest and some work...Of course I will be posting again soon.

Busy To say that least

Hello all,

I hope everything is going well for everyone. I have been so busy with the Fraternity, classes, and trying to maintain some social life. Finding a balance is perhaps the most difficult thing to do in college. While classes are getting harder, there is a lot of other things on my plate right now. Nevertheless, I would not have it any other way.

I am very excited to be leaving to Indiana for a Fraternity meeting. I am apart of the National Board of Directors and we have our first meeting in about a week. I could not be more excited about this. We are planning on doing a lot and I am sure there is a ton more I am not aware of yet.

I will close for now but of course more on the way...

Another busy semester

Hey everyone,

I hope everything is going well with your semester so far and that you are thinking about attending the university either in the Spring or Fall. As for me I have been so busy lately; it would seem that I rarely have a moment to myself. Nevertheless I prefer it that way compared to being bored and lonely. The semester has been going very well and my classes are very interesting. Last semester I was wondering if I was in the right major but it seems now I am. My stats class is not as hard as I thought it would be and the law class I am taking is convincing me that I should attend law school. Now that I am a junior I have to start thinking about what is going to be next for me once I finish my time at the University. I am thinking a dual grad degree with my mba and jd. That program normally takes about 4 and a half years so I will have to start all over again. Another option is to work for my fraternity as a traveling leadership consultant. Either way I have a little bit more time to think about it. I will close for not but I will post again soon.
