School has officially started! Ok yes, we just finished week three, but I have felt so relaxed about everything. All I have had to do is read and work on some small homework assignments. However, I just looked at my calendar for next week, and I have a test or project in every class. No worries though, because I am a total nerd when it comes to school. I sat down and made a timeline of everything that I need to study and when I would like to have things done. Yes, honestly, you can pass college with all nighters and last minute studying, but it is not ideal. Trust me, I have been there. Dragging yourself to an exam after an hour of sleep is just miserable. Those are not habits conducive to a happy and healthy college lifestyle. As long as you manage your time and take things in small chunks, you won’t have to get overwhelmed with your classes, whether you are taking twelve hours or eighteen. I feel like college is all about finding the balance. Balancing your study habits with your social outings and making time for the people that you care about. With no one else to regulate your schedule, you could very well play video games until four am every day, but that isn’t what college is about. It’s about growing as a whole person and becoming the very best version of yourself, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
