I would like to tell you all about the football game last weekend. Yes, there was a game yesterday, but we got slaughtered, so I am more inclined to tell you about our victory last week. To start off, it is only our second season and we have already moved up a division. That is amazing, but that is a lot of pressure on a new team. We hadn't had any wins this season, but then our boys came together as a team and held their own. The entire game they were up or tied, which took a ton of effort. The time ended with a tie, so we went into overtime. The other team got to make their play first, and the succeeded!! OH NO!! We were devastated! However, they didn't get their extra point. Then it was our turn, and our guys were not ready to give up. We got the points, and then to the excitement of everyone in the UIW stands, WE GOT THE EXTRA POINT TO WIN THE GAME!! Yes, I realize that I am not using legit football terms, but everyone reading this will understand exactly what I am talking about. It was an amazing win, and it was on such a terrible night as well! It had been rainy all weekend, but we still had a great number of fans! It makes me so happy when people come to cheer on our Cards despite weather conditions. Last night with better weather, yes, we had a much BIGGER crowd, but it's the fans with undying loyalty that I salute. The RED C is getting larger, and I am very excited, because we are starting to designate our section. At the football games we are right next to the band and dancers, which is AMAZING!! They play for us, and we dance, and we all just have a grand ol time! If you ever come to check out one of our games, feel free to sit with us!!
