I hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas this year! Mine has been amazing. It started last night with the midnight mass that happened to be a roomy experience even though I thought it would be packed. From mass we headed off to IHOP. I think the best part of being home, which is kinda sad, is when you come home and see half the people you know at IHOP and the server knows your name and what you drink/eat. Yeah, makes me realize that my family and friends could probably support that chain with just the income we give to it every night there is an event in church or sports. My sister and bro in-law came to visit and it was a blast. The family opened presents, stuffed our faces with amazing food, and played games till we couldn't stand it. Overall, the Christmas experience hasn't changed that much since I have left. The real tradition of family will always be there. It's amazing how we don't see each other for a massive amount of time, but when we come back everything is back to normal. It shows me that I will always have a home no matter where the physical building of home is. The day pretty much concluded with a massive amount of text messages raining in from everyone I know. I don't know about you guys, but I prefer the personalized messages. I am against group messaging. I don't really see the point! But, it is the thought that counts so I will accept it. Hope you guys have a great rest of the year!
