I didn't realize how fast time goes by in college. After going home for Thanksgiving break I realized that I only have two more weeks of the first semester! I guess it is true that time really does fly when you're having fun. Looking back on this semester it has been a blast. I have made friendships that are already stronger then ever and learned so much in this short amount of time. I can't wait to get through these next weeks of finals and start next semester. I don't know what to do with myself over Christmas break. A month away from this new place that I call home. When I went back to Dallas it was as if I was visiting a foreign place. Nothing had changed except for me. It's amazing the effect college has on you. My favorite part about this journey is that I'm making the decisions and not relying on anyone else. It's my turn to step up and take control of my life.
